# Empty issues

The Empty issue feature enables you to create an issue using the quick capture extension without capturing contextual information. You simply enter the issue as you would normally do in the app.

To enter an issue:

{% hint style="info" %}
You need to be logged into your Revo account and ensure that you have the Chrome extension installed in your browser. If you don't have the extension already installed, you can follow the steps [here](/help-documentation/quick-capture-extension/get-the-browser-extension.md) to install it.
{% endhint %}

1. Click on the Iteration X extension in the Chrome toolbar to open the Quick Capture menu.

{% hint style="warning" %}
Ensure the correct team is selected. To switch teams, click on your team’s title and choose the desired team from the dropdown list.
{% endhint %}

3. Click on *Empty issue* or press `C`.
4. In the pop-up window, write a title and a description of the issue, providing all the necessary context. You can also attach files and add any additional details such as status, priority, label, assignee, and due date.

{% hint style="warning" %}
Ensure the correct project is selected. Switch projects if needed by clicking on the project title.
{% endhint %}

5. Click on the *Create issue* button.

Your entered issue will now be visible in the app within your project.
